Last weekend, in San Diego, there was the 48 Hour Film Project. Dawson Digital Productions made a musical called Lucky Numbers: A Musical. It was co-directed by David S. Dawson and Al Stoffel who also composed the music. Excellent performances I was able to enjoy as the sound mixer/boom operator and a long second night in the editing room.

The project started with the writers at 7pm on Friday when the team learned what genre we were going to do. The music was written and recorded during the first night and the footage was on tape Saturday night. The Musical was delivered a couple of minutes before the deadline which was Sunday at 7:30pm.

The films in competition will be screened this week in San Diego.

Le 48 Hour Film Project a eu lieu à San Diego le week-end passé. Dawson Digital Productions a fait une comédie musicale du nom de Lucky Numbers: A Musical co-réalisée par David S. Dawson et Al Stoffel qui a également composé la musique. Excellentes performances que j’ai pu admirer en tant que preneur de son et durant la longue deuxième nuit au montage.

Le projet avait commencé avec les écrivains à 19h00 le vendredi soir dès que le team appris quel genre nous allions avoir à faire. La musique a été écrite et enregistrée durant la première nuit et le film était sur cassette le samedi soir. La comédie musicale a été delivrée quelques minutes avant l’heure limite qui était dimanche à 19h30.

Les films en compétition seront projetés cette semaine à San Diego.
