This year, the Los Angeles Short Film Festival took place in Downtown Burbank. Our Lost Translation as well as Barry’s Last Chance were screened there on Wednesday and Sunday.
On Saturday, in San Diego, Dawson Digital Productions won 2 awards at the El Cajon Video and Film Festival. One of them was for Lucky Numbers: A Musical for best 48 Hour Short Film. Congratulations!

Last Friday, around Laguna Beach, I worked as a producer/editor for LCI (Lights, Camera, InterAction). The idea is to coach a team and help non-filmmakers to make a commercial for their company.
It was a great experience and the team was very creative and motivated. The 7 teams had a lot of fun and our commercial was in the final three. Congratulations!

Two cameras have been following around Addison Witt, an actors manager, for a couple of weeks. With Dave Brunsman from Monument Productions, we have watched the 28 tapes and are ready to edit the eight webisodes of a couple of minutes each.
